A to F

7 terms
Attention
One of the three signals coherence is built from. It captures whether focus was sustained through the work rather than scattered across it.
Coherence
The score the protocol computes, built from energy, vector, and attention over the time the work took. On technical surfaces it is written Γ; in plain language it is coherence.
ctu (Causal Time Unit)
The unit of validated transformation. It is non-transferable and records that real change happened. A ctu is never a token and cannot be traded.
Domain Capability
The capability ladder, DC0 through DC7. DC0, software engineering, is operational today; DC1 through DC7 are specified and in calibration through the Open Validation Program.
Energy
One of the three signals coherence is built from. It is the real effort spent on the work.
EVA (Energy, Vector, Attention)
The three signals the Coherence Index is built from. Energy is real effort spent, vector is alignment to the declared intent, and attention is sustained focus.
FLUX
The settlement token, minted when a seal is emitted. It is how validated work settles on the shared rail anchored on Solana.

G to M

5 terms
Genesis Heritage Spark
The first sealed cycle, recorded on Solana on 4 April 2026 at coherence 0.9497. It is the protocol's foundational on-chain event.
Guardian Gates
The five checks every cycle passes or fails before it can seal: intention, coherence, entropy, lineage, and authority. If any gate fails, the cycle does not seal.
Heritage Thread
The append-only record of a person's validated work. Entries can be added but never edited or erased, so the record grows honestly over time.
IntentSig
The signed declaration of what a person is about to do. One signature can scope many cycles, so a single sign-off covers a whole batch of work.
LUX Runtime
The deterministic open engine that computes the Coherence Index and runs the Guardian Gates. The same inputs always produce the same verdict.

N to Z

13 terms
Open Validation Program
The public program for replication, falsification, and domain calibration. It is the open door for testing the protocol and bringing new domains through calibration.
Polaris Oracle
The witness layer that grounds seals against the corpus and the Heritage record. It ties each seal back to the canonical specification and the operator's history.
Sealed Artifact
The priced, recorded act that follows a passing verdict. Once a cycle clears the gates, its result is sealed as a permanent, recorded artifact.
Human Agency
The operator entity: one human, one key, one Heritage Thread. Identity, intent, and signature stay with a single human key.
Temporal debt
The entropy cost of a transformation: the part of the change that did not convert cleanly. It is the friction left over when work does not fully cohere.
The Three Paths (Latent, Gradient, Declared)
The three ways a transformation can be expressed before it collapses to one recorded path. A cycle resolves to a single declared outcome when it is sealed.
Tiers (SEED, BLOOM, ROOT)
The three coherence tiers, at thresholds 0.70, 0.8187, and 0.95. A higher tier means the work cleared a higher coherence bar.
Time Call
The foundational witness inscribed on Bitcoin at block 946,742. It is a permanent cross-substrate anchor against which the on-chain state is reconciled.
TKDF-256
The time-bound key derivation function used for identity and lineage keys. It binds keys to time so that identity and lineage are derived rather than asserted.
Triadic Trust Model
Three independent proof legs: lineage proven by cryptography, correctness proven by reproduction, and faithfulness proven by structure. Each leg stands on its own.
Vector
One of the three signals coherence is built from. It is the alignment of the work to the declared intent.
w_AI equals zero
The rule that automated tools may compute but never originate a signature. The signature behind a recorded act always belongs to a human.
Zero Boundary
The crossing from measurement to economics, where a free verdict becomes a priced seal. Computing a score is free; sealing it is the priced step.
